Pre-rode the Colorado High Country 1000k over the last 3 days. Scenes from that ride. Certainly not an easy route, but the scenery is something quite special.
East of Red Feather lakes. 82E is a hootin good time.
Round about Pennock Pass. A bit too early for some of this route, unless you’re ok with riding 100ft at a time.
City Park. Feels like the first day of spring.
The Flèche Vélocio. Not quite a brevet. Not easier, not harder, but I think more fun.
Shades of American mud. Deadwood, SD. Beulah, WY
Black Hills. Spearfish, SD
Wyoming coal and cattle country. You know the road is rough when Peterbuilts are shedding badges.
Remember that broken SRAM parallelogram spring? It happened again to another derailleur a few months ago. Today I broke out the drill, punch and hammer and serviced the “unserviceable” spring. @sramroad should really just put a hole there and sell that spring as a maintenance part.
Now broadcasting from Fort Collins. Took a little spin up Rist Canyon and down Poudre Canyon. Early season for sure. Also, new stem from @larkin_cycles
