Rando accessories. For an upcoming SR600, the simple box bag on the right acts as a “false floor” in my large randonneuring bag. The ride will take 3 days, and without drop bag support, everything goes on the bike. This keeps clothes and other off-the-bike necessities separate from the disgusting horror of food scraps sweaty layers that is a rando bag during any sufficiently long ride. The final photo is of my compact reflective kit bundled down to its 2” x 2” x 1” package
Yesterday’s 400k concludes our 2022 randonneuring series. Plenty of rando left, but the SR is out of the way!
Yesterday’s 300k was…rough. Lots of climbing and nearly 100F for much of the day. Thanks for all the ice everyone!
600k in the bag
Scenes from this weekend’s 360km flèche
A bag for populaires and most 200ks. The rando bag is too much for shorter rides, the mini bag too little. This one feels just right and can be over stuffed in a pinch.
Chill 200k.
Desert stuff
Oh you Randos.
Test riding a 200km perm route. Burritos in a sunglasses case is my revelation of 2021.
